Chennai Open 2010 Singles winner

Marin Cilic wins Chennai Open 2009

Marin Cilic from Croatia, defeated Somdev Devvarman in two sets, in just under two hours in the finals of the tournament held on 11th January 2009 at the SDAT stadium, Chennai. Cilic was given a tough challenge by Somdev, who had earlier defeated Carlos Moya.

Eric Butorac and Rajiv Ram of the US defeated the Swiss pair of Jean Claude Scherrer and Stanislas Wawrinka 6-3, 6-4 to win the doubles title on Sunday.

The results:

Singles final: Marin Cilic (Cro) bt Somdev Devvarman (Ind) 6-4, 7-6 (3).

Doubles final: Eric Butorac (USA) , Rajeev Ram (USA) bt Jean-Claude Scherrer (Sui) , Stanislas Wawrinka (Sui) 6-3, 6-4.
