Selection of Junior teams for 2008

The Tournament Committee along with the BOD of AITA has taken the following decision regarding selection of junior teams for 2008, at the meeting held in Mumbai on 07 Mar 2007.

Eight players from each group will be invited to Delhi to take part in a Masters, these eight players will consist of the six highest ranked players as on 17 Dec 2007, the selection committee will also invite two players, as Wild Cards, who they feel are good but who are not amongst the top six ranked players. After the Masters the selection committee will select the various teams.

The selected players will then be asked to come for a two-week camp to the NTA, Gurgaon before they leave for the tournament from Delhi.
